The Excellence Track is a part of the collaborative research center GAUS. It is a certificate programme designed as an extension to the Master programmes at Technical University of Darmstadt, Goethe University Frankfurt, Ruprecht-Karls University Heidelberg and Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, aimed for students with a keen interest in research.

This programme targets high-performing students, who are enrolled in the Master programme of Mathematics at one of the universities, providing them with opportunities to deepen their scientific expertise and acquire complementary and transferable skills within a structured framework.

In order to successfully complete the Excellence Track, students must submit the application form along with the application to the Master programme. Graduates will receive a certificate attesting the additional academic achievements.
